Fashion board: is Rummy around? Have a suspenders question

Ok so I've searched everywhere and j can't find one of the leather straps Thad connect the suspenders to my britches.
How bad of a fashion faux pas is it to just go the easy route and connect with the clips?
frickkng sucks. I just resewed one of the buttons back on the inner waistband of some slacks so I could rock the suspenders.

You can use the clips if you've got a jacket and nobody can see.

Kinda what I'm figuring... Thing is he coat may come off some.
Also could I rock a strap in the back but use the clips for the front of the suspenders? Reason being im already drinking and have broken the seal meaning I'm going to have to pee every 20 minutes anyway and the clips make it easier to take a leak.... ?????.... Profit

You would always have a couple rednecks show up and that one annoying arse messican flaunting his American flag shirt over compensating for simming the Rio.
