Why the hell does this trouble you? Is it any of your damned business? Did said fan who didn't attend school perhaps pay state taxes towards the school? Bought tickets, memorabilia? Good grief stop worrying about others and what they do. I guarandamntee you that you appreciate every dollar of support received from these "sidewalk" fans when you want to hire a new coach for example.
