quote:

Jordan and Ben Feria say they paid $4,300 for the appliance. Right now, the gadgets are working, but the actual refrigerator isn't, which Jordan Feria says makes meal time for her two toddlers difficult.

"They are young, they will want to come over and eat something and I can’t because our refrigerator is gone," Jordan Feria said. "We lost all of our food that day when it went down a month ago. As you can see it’s empty, we are using it as dry storage right now."

quote:

Feria said the technician informed her that the training was ongoing but it wasn't complete yet since the appliance was new technology, so she would have to wait an indefinite time.

Samsung. Lol.

My Mother used to put a cookie jar on our fridge so we couldn't reach it. Fridge lasted about 20 years. Coincidence?

This is funny because my company does this with every new release of software.

I've had the same experience. I bought the 27cuft one when it first came out, I've had repairmen over at least 5 times for different things that have gone wrong.

The only answer at this point, and Samsung should pull their head out their arse, save face, and just pay them to go fix the damn thing.

My Kenmore is 14 years old and still works. A fridge should keep food cold, WTF do you need a smart one for.

They're feeding her a line of bullshite. If the gadgets are working but the refrigerator won't cool off, it's likely a problem any appliance tech could fix, they just don't feel like dealing with it.

The same one that buys a home warranty.

Ummmm should have asked the guy at home depot who sold it to them, "soooooo can these get fixed?"

these kind of stories are going to be pretty normal for a bit. especially in cars. Cost so much to fix all this new tech. Why my ins keeps going up each 6 months.

I have one of those big arse ones with the freezer on the bottom and it cost half the amount of this fridge. $4,300 is a shite ton of money for a fridge.
