This is actually how Darwin meant for our society to function. Our society usually saves the weak now and we don't allow nature to take its course. This is a perfect example of the weak being weeded out of society, I'm ok with this.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.

I didn't know Darwin came up with the plan for society. I feel smarter for having this conversation. Thanks.

Well, technically, they didn't kill him. They just watched him die and made note of his condition on a report every 15 minutes while it happened. So they've got that going for them, which is nice.
Know what the authorities classify when a parent sees their child in distress, observes it 96 times per day for 17 days, does nothing and the child dies?

And you're an example of what a piece of shite is
This man suffered and died in the custody and supposed protection of law enforcement officials. You really deserve no response, I hope you are never in need of help, and denied it.

I have zero sympathy for addicts

Unless it's your son or daughter. Stfu

You have a dead parent due to an addict? Stfu I don't need to give you the story of why I have no tolerance for addicts and never will. I don't have a kid to know but I'd like to think tough love would be involved.

Hopefully you don't take any prescription meds.
I have zero sympathy for prescription medication users.
If you don't get your meds and you die, tough luck. You deserved it.

I'm 24 and on no medications.
I am a medical student though, and I worked for 3 years in a pharmacy. I have just a little bit of knowledge of what happens when people don't or can't take their medications.

Guy cant pay $772 so the solution is to throw him in jail for a month? On what retarded planet does that make sense? A non-violent offender cost the system even more money and now he's dead.

If you exchanged drugs for alcohol, the responses would be insanely different. The OT loves them an alcoholic but hates a junkie.

Some fine reporting there, BTW. 9+ minutes for the poor unfortunate victim's side of the story, ~15 seconds for the prison staff's side. Seems fair.
One less burden for society to carry. Sounds like his whole family is a bunch of worthless frick ups. His brother was in the same jail at the same time and also had to be hospitalized for withdrawal. Their parents didn't visit either of them during the 2+ weeks they were incarcerated, even though they live in the same town. I expect they'll be suing the jail, though, and proclaiming how much they loved their son, etc.

Not the genocide but the rejuvenation that takes place when you topple the old order. Ya racist.
But that point he and our founding fathers agree upon. And Machiavelli Et al.

If you have issues like chemical dependency and have to have special treatment so you don't die, maybe you should take necessary steps to ensure that you don't miss the treatments. Like pay a fricking ticket to stay out of jail. Or maybe the family hoped he could get free treatment in jail.
"Free" treatment in jail, "free" treatment out of jail. Same difference. This man, like thousands of others, is nothing more than a drain on society. Contributes nothing, but expects - and is afforded - all the necessities of life.

Its time to end the war on drugs and start giving addicts the rehabilitation that they need
Posted on 9/24/15 at 5:46 pm to Darth_Vader
Maybe he should have stayed away from drugs. Sorry he lost his life that way, but he was killing himself before hand.

They are two in the same.

So you admit then you have zero experience taking care of these people since you're allowed to stand in a room and talk to people.

There are some archaic-minded mofos in here. This kid's situation is sad. Poor, addicted kid suffers miserably while in custody finally dying a painful death. Correct OT response? "Got what he deserved", " Play stupid games... ", etc.
I'd love to hang out in the Ivory Towers some of you ballers live in.
You don't have to live in an ivory tower to despise drug-addicted wastes of humanity who mooch off the hard work of others and contribute nothing to society.
