Do you know if they are East or West of the Tickfaw River at Holden. The Tickfaw is about 1/2 mile west of Holden Exit and it's still rising I was told. If they're on the East side of river they're probably better off

I've got relatives trapped in one of those cars on 43
it looks like maybe they could go north on 43 to 442 then east to 55 but I'm not sure they can get across 190

Elderly couple stranded at 1308 Woodcliff in Sherwood Forest, last I heard they were sitting in their car with water in it.

Their Cell # 225-610-5934 service may be down

If anyone is in the area please check on these people

It's my mom's sister and husband, both are in their 70's

One side of Holden is receding and may open later and the other side of Holden is still riding. Are they just past Holden or just before it?

Finding out now which side of Holden they are located.

Phones appear dead. If I receive contact from them I'll post.

My husband was out with his boat and crew working with rescues in the Zachary area yesterday. Not sure where he is today but they have jetskis, boats. 4 wheelers with snorkels. and a military type high truck. I will pass along whatever info I get to him.

They are all volunteer with their own equipment, experienced in this type pf scenario so they can go where the need is greatest,

My ex husband has my kids in Denham. I live in Covington. Sent St. Tammany FD after my kids last night, but my ex said everything was fine. I can't get in touch with anyone now. I don't know where my kids are and I don't know how to get to them and get them home.

Ok, people are able to turn around on interstate and get off at Livingston exit and take 63 off of 190. Still has water so mostly higher vehicles can make it through.

43 is now open heading north from I12 and I know for sure you can get to 190. From there 190 East is still closed at the Natalbany. Not sure about further north up 43. I know alot of people who live up that way and 90% of them flooded out and the roads were not passible yesterday evening. Not sure how water is on 1064 at Natalbany River

They may be letting them go to I55. I doubt they let them come further. I12 at Pumpkin Center is still under water

Geez these people need to be rescued ASAP.

I feel so freaking useless because I can't be there to help in any way.
