I honestly would invite them over for a meal or a drink and drop it in casually. You aren't wrong for noting it's their tree dropping leaves in your yard, but blowing a pile into theirs isn't the most neighborly action.

I don't think the op is wrong blowing them back. It's a sticky situation though.
