the only recorded "attack" was in 1972. guy survived with some (well a lot) of stitches

I don't think that would have happened if he'd just stuck with iron sights instead of optics. Sheesh! Durned young-uns can't do ANYTHING without additional electronics on everything!

It looks like a tidal bore. They occur at the mouths of some rivers. The largest tidal bore is on China's Qiantang River. The video is in an area that is very flat and at low tide the bottom is exposed except at the central channel of the river and you are seeing the tidal wave (bore) come in. An example of this you may be aware of is Mont St Michel off the coast of Normandy in France though it is usually not as tall nor as fast as this one.
