Exact same thing happened to me, except i was only 8 feet up. Threw the running chainsaw away from me as i fell and somehow landed on my feet, and now my chainsaw is all fricked up, but i'm alive.
Guy i worked with had this happened to him as well, but he was a little over 20feet up. broke one leg, messed up his knee on the other leg.
moral of the story, don't frick with chainsaws on a ladder.

Cracked up at so many of these. You have to be in a state of deep depression if you could go through this whole thread without a laugh
