If I were him I’d get a tattoo of “I’M BIG AND SCARY” or maybe just a t-shirt.

Maybe put the phone down and start throwing some of those rocks.

Shes protecting her two cubs. Dude was a fricking idiot for advancing on the cubs when he saw them. Should've eased out of the area. The cougar isn't the problem. the jogger is.

title is misleading and the jogger is a drama queen.

Did anyone see him jogging? The second you stop jogging you are no longer a jogger. Should say "Couger stalks man while he walks away for 6 minutes". But that won't sell advertisements.

I meant he thought if he got killed and eaten, his family could have closure instead of wondering why he never came home. Not about documenting for bragging rights.

Yeah I didn't get the sense that she wanted to eat him; just run him off. If she was hungry he would have been fricked.

He should go for hike in Alaska and throw rocks at the first grizzly cub he comes across.

That mountain lion must have absolutely been starving or the guy must have been pretty small or both. They may take a run at somebody bigger and test them but not a six minute stalk. I went trail running 5 days a week in the Colorado foothills Where they are everywhere and never even saw one.

I know exactly where that is. About 30 mins away.

Were there not any rocks big enough from him to chuck at the cat?

there again, if he sees young offspring, stop advancing and ease the frick out of the area. This idiot was walking towards the cubs. I have no sympathy for someone that stupid.

Doesn't mean you weren't stalked.

Carry a hot dog in your pocket and then throw it at the cat and run. Or carry a laser pointer. Cats love the laser pointer.

I'm thinking as soon as he had bent down to pick something up, the cougar would've taken that opportunity to attack while he was vulnerable.
