Environmentalism is really not any different from any other faith based ethos. It's amazing how many people feel so strongly about a subject about which they have nearly zero primary knowledge.

You're missing the point. A single day record is meaningless. It's the average yearly temp you should be using. Go look up the average temp for 1925 in BR or whatever and compare forward.

Please explain how fracking causes air pollution and warming. Is it the fracturing of rock miles deep in the earth that causes the warming, or the burning of natural gas instead of coal, and the reduction in overall emissions as a result that is causing it?

Sure its done it countless times in the past but according to the scientist data. This is now happening in decades not centuries like the previous instances. Just
amazed at how many people wont even acknowledge something is happening
Nobody has ever said that the average temperature of the entire planet doesn't move up or down over time. Everyone recognizes that it does, and has for millenia.
Again, why is something that has happened naturally thousands of times now a bad thing? You didn't answer that question.

That’s a lot of downvotes. Many are calling bullshite.

Also, I suspect that a factor (and maybe just a minor one) is the government's meddling in the weather patterns. They aren't good at it.
I thought the same thing when I read that. WTF

So when scientist put facts in front of your face you say nothing is happening
Weird how your so-called “scientists” only display data from the past few decades. You do realize that the 1930’s were warmer than what we’re seeing now, right?

See this is what I’m talking about. All you left-wing nut jobs don’t do enough research to really understand climate change
You read what other “scientits” have to say and draw your conclusions from them.
Do me a favor hot shot. Go to your NWS climate page and do some research. Go look back at records that are dated back to the 1800s and tell me what you find.
I’ll wait...

The hottest weather temperature ever officially recorded in Baton Rouge is 110 degrees, which occurred on August 19, 1909.
I am more concerned with a few days or week average. What is the record for the hottest week? One days records are not really good ways to look at it.

That's too difficult for them. They would rather just repeat the bull shite talking points they heard from their twice removed cousin.

Of course I know it gets hot in July - but not like this.
The average high in Dallas, Tx in July using data collected between 1985-2015 is 96 degrees.
The average high in Dallas this year in the month of July is: 98
Is a two degree average that big of a change? If so... lets look at the same data for January... on average between 1985-2015 the high is 58... this year it was 55.
ETA: to add links to where I got my data:

So you're right... it hasn't been this cool in the past.
That average is probably going to climb a bit.

World getting warmer >>> World getting colder
It’s a vicious cycle.... climate that is. Nature will correct itself when a volcano spews out some ash and clouds the atmosphere for a few months.

Climate changes? Who knew? Guess that’s why they pay people to be weathermen, because you wouldn’t need them if the weather was the exact same every day. It changes so much that the weathermen are lucky if they are right 50% of the time. Been that way for all our days. Government meddling? How about this attempt to tax the weather through a “carbon tax” all consumers will ultimately bear? There’s some meddling for you.
