Mayor Cooper seems weirdly amused by this. Very strange press conference.

I am in nashville visiting my mom. Her apartment is on 2nd ave. At appx. 430 am we woke up hearing gunshots, like someone was firing into the air. I looked out of my window and saw an rv parked down there. At around 515 a loud speaker coming from the rv started announcing for people to get out and away from the area. It played the message over and over for nearly half an hour, finally it said, you have 15 minutes to get away. I got my family out of our building. We drove across to titan stadium and parked and waited. After about 20 minutes we started driving across the bridge when the explosion went up. The fireball went up as high as the bat building. Crazy. I would have been a great spot on the wall as my apt was right above the RV.

Such an odd set of circumstances. Dead of morning on the deadest day of traffic of the year on a side street.
Any suspicions that they were targeting one of the businesses on the street?

Maybe he was posted up there today thinking he would go unnoticed.
Doesn't make sense, really. You could drive 20 minutes outside Nashville and have much better places to park. An RV passing through downtown Nashville isn't a big deal. Why take the risk of staging so close to a potential target?
I ask all of this knowing full and damn well that these things rarely ever make sense.

A bunch of other people on the Nashville subreddit are disputing this.

This does sound like someone was pissed off that AT&T fricked their internet for the holidays and gave them a third week in January repair date.

Is that the dirty, filthy, nasty, disgusting, slimy motherfricker who lied about Covid cases to keep restaurants and bars shut down?

Yes. He’s done more damage to Nashville than this bomb.

Yep, he's the POS in question.

You thinking an "Operation Northwoods" type event?
Let’s hope not. But with everything going on right now, it seems like anything and everything is on the table.

He’s visiting his mom in Nashville but if he wouldn’t have left he would have been a spot on the wall since HIS apt is above the RV?

I own a glass company and I am already getting calls and texts from downtown customers. Some of them are few blocks away. I was really looking forward to a few days off.

How does someone snap that photo so quickly while driving on the interstate?
