I guess if you’re interested in knowing the guy was like every other IT guy on earth and liked camping, this article is for you.
I do find it interesting that media continues to add that he liked camping. Like that’s some indicator of what would be his future actions.

Confirmed? I know everyone believes the remains are him, but it’s not been confirmed from what I’ve seen.

Doing DNA now but it was human, he said he was going down with the ship in letters, and they apparently have decent surveillance now of him driving the RV from a camera on his route.
But no not DNA confirmed yet.

No I’m a fan of free speech. Saying that Rogan giving Jones a platform might have in any way caused this or violence is where he deserves the finger.

Not my DV. I agree w the free speech angle. I do. But influence can occur. At some point, guys like Jones need to take some high ground instead of constantly getting paid to pander to the low IQ.

This guy was supposedly on a watch list right? So he liquidated his assets while on a watch list.

No it isn’t. Saying that you platforming someone caused a violent act when this person did not call for violence is calling for speech to be restricted and that speech is violence. Sorry, absolutist here. So long as the person doesn’t call for violence, you should be able to platform whoever the frick you want.

If you can find an audience, you should be able to make a living. I don’t see what he’s doing as any worse than Maury.

No, I think people just reported him for being a wacko, but he was breaking no laws, had full time job, and was a law abiding and tax paying citizen that by all accounts was a nice enough fella. Have not heard he was on active watch lists.
Government spying on us is overblown. They’re inefficient and disorganized, they aren’t effectively spying on many people.
Now, private industry is another story. But this guy likely had no social media or online presence due to his beliefs.
