I remember a guy a long time ago that installed a hot tub for my parents said that you have to make sure it doesn't go over 104 degrees or else it gets dangerous pretty quick and you dont want to stay in the hot tub too long especially if you're drunk. He implied there were some negative experiences with it.

Explain the physiology of hot tubs causing a heart attack

Blood flow to the heart is determined by preload. Hot water relaxes the muscles of the submerged extremities. The circulatory system uses muscle tension in the lower extremities to help return blood to the heart. Decreased muscle tension in the lower extremities => decreased venous return to the heart (aka preload) => decreased blood flow to the heart tissue. Normally that is not a problem but if some is engaged in something that makes the heart work harder (i.e. sex, cocaine, amphetamines, etc) and has some degree of blockage (all American males > 50 years old have some degree of blockage) in their coronary arteries it can lead to inadequate bloodflow to the heart. Especially if Viagra or some other ED medication was used.

Someone on blood thinners or what not, could stay in a hot tub too long, causing a further drop in blood pressure, and the person faints and drowns.

Antihypertensives you mean. Blood thinners simply decrease the risk of clot formation, their effects on BP are negligible

Autopsies are extremely rare because they are very expensive.

They are literally required in most places legally in every case involved in an unnatural or unexpected deaths.

You blow your head off in a suicide, it’s still an autopsy.

Only way they don’t do an autopsy here is along with the clinical presentation of a cardiac event they have a medical history of heart problems.

No, I mean you seem obsessed with the fact that it got a stickly at all. You've made four or five comments that I've seen referring to it. It is like you're personally offended by it or something. It is kind of weird, and I don't really get it.

When the OP asked someone to "explain the physiology," I don't think he was quite ready for the preload, peripheral vascular resistance, contractility metabolic demand, decreased coronary pressure lecture.

Hot tubs can lower blood pressure, which can be a bad thing.

Based on recent photos of Matthew, it doesn’t look like he had any muscles left.

Or the boner pills a middle aged man would need in order to enjoy both the hookers and the blow at the same time. Thats a young man’s game right there.

Random fun fact.
Post-vax orchitis is referred to as "spiking the ball"
