If you have a score of 800, you wouldn’t have to ask for a credit increase. You would have been given one without asking. I call bullshite.

Went through this in my late 20s. Divorce and bankruptcy due to divorce. Took me 13 years to get my score back over 700. Still only sits @ 707 right now. I don’t believe half the people in here and this article is bullshite. I’d say the national average is closer to 500 than 700.

Not always. At some point you need to update the CC company on your income. An 800 credit score isn't going to get automatic bumps if you're already pushing up against the credit to income ratio maximums.

You need to dispute that shite. Dispute every single negative item on your report every single month until they miss verifying it one month and it falls off.

And wasn’t Christmas vacation predicated on kidnapping his boss for not paying a bonus he NEEDED because he wrote checks he couldn’t cash?

yes, we should definitely judge the financial prowess of an entire generation based on the plot of a Christmas movie.

My current credit score is 805 with a credit card balance of less than $400 which I pay off each month.

unlike boomers, aren’t aware of the concept of saving money for a future purchase you want.

If only boomers were aware of saving money for retirement too

Anyone ever wonder how companies like Experian are able to collect all this information on you, even without you consenting?

I think back in the 80's they passed some law nobody noticed to invade your privacy without your consent.

What is your view on how this happened?
