Millenials = mostly mid-20s right now, right?
More like late 20's early 30s. The youngest millenials are 23.

Boomers = mostly mid-60s at present. Many are 70+.
Most are probably in their early to mid 60s. Both my parents are boomers and my dad just turned 59. I'm right in the middle of the millenial age range.

If you're a Millenial and your parents are really Boomers, you had old parents.
I mean, my mom was only 24 when she had me and she's a boomer.

FWIW: "The United States Chamber of Commerce, a business-oriented lobbying group,[47] uses 1980–1999.[48] In 2014, U.S PIRG described millennials as those born between 1983 and 2000.[49][50][51] The United States Census Bureau used the birth years 1982 to 2000 in a 2015 news release to describe millennials"
I think the most widely accepted date range for millenials is 1983-1996.

No, the youngest Millennials are in their mid-20s. Most are late 20’s, or early 30s.
Even so, they have frick all to do with Boomers.
I can't remember the last time I worked with an honest-to-God Boomer. The people running things are Gen X or younger.
The CEO of Microsoft is Gen X. So are the CEOs of Coca-Cola and GE.
WTF do Boomers have to do with life in 2019? I am really at a loss on that count.

The youngest boomers are around 55. I work with a number of them.

I read/take in more random information than most of my friends. (I don't watch TV - only read random shite on the internet, magazines, etc.)
I started reading about credit cards and the benefits of using them correctly, and made the switch when I was like 21. My first credit card limit was something low like $500. Today, and for the past 7 years, I use solely credit cards. This is given me tons of points and a good credit score.
But pretty much all of my friends' upbringing is in two categories: [1] Parents with zero financial smarts who taught them nothing, or [2] Parents who taught them a ton about saving, living within their means, etc. BUT who drilled into their heads that credit cards are evil and should not be fricked with. Of the two, situation #2 is the more ideal I guess. But I have friends in their mid 30s who still do not own a credit card and have a very modest credit history.

Might want to check up on the populations of each generation.
Boomers are the largest living generation.
Then check in and see the ages of the overwhelming majority of state and federal politicians and judges. They are boomers.
Our last 4 presidents have been boomers.
You still wondering who has had control of our country for the last 20+ years and counting?

Guys like Lloyd Blankfein, Jerome Powell and Jamie Dimon are boomers. They control the financial system in this country

Calling someone born in 1964 a Boomer is ridiculous.
How long do you think the post-WWII "baby boom" lasted? A baby born a year after WWII was 18 years old in 1964.
Plenty of those 1946 babies had children at 18. If 1964 babies were Boomers, then the Boomers' kids were Boomers too. That doesn't add up.
1964 = solid Gen X.

So these are the people who ruined your job prospects?

I mean, you're wrong but whatever.
Regardless, the positions in power across the country, whether it be in the private or the public sector are overwhelmingly occupied by baby boomers. I don't quite understand how anyone could disagree with that. Aside from total outliers like Zuck

That will be the next Democratic talking point in order to get votes. Eliminate Millennials credit card debt.

Last 3 and the current. We haven't had a non-boomer president 26 years.

Trump is a buffoon, but if you can't get a good job Trump is the absolute last person on Earth you need to blame.
You can parse years, cherry-pick examples, etc. but "hurr durr Drumpf is a Boomer and that's why my credit is bad" is lame-brained.
I'm done with this. This thread is pure, unadulterated stupidity.
Have fun with your Monster Energy memes. FWIW, my dad, who I love, is a Boomer, and if he drank a Monster Energy drink he might just end up in the ER... because he's old as dirt.
He'd probably pay his bill, though, and probably wouldn't assault the physician. Can't say that about y'all kids.
