Yep our uppababy stroller is 5 years old and ready for number 3. Thing has been on flights from Florida to Louisiana a dozen times and another dozen to Disney.

High chair: we have the one from Stokke. It very nice and works well, and we like it because it doesn’t stand out from our furniture.

Playpen: no idea. We have a generic graco one. If I was going to be taking it up and down a lot I’d look at 4moms brand.

Honestly, I’d look at 4moms brand a lot if I were you. It’s all cool technology stuff.

Check out thenightlight.com its a great site for some of the most thorough baby product reviews I’ve ever seen.

Samsung baby monitor with HD screen.BOB revolution stroller. Phillips Avent bottles and I forget the car seat. Do you not have family on either side? My parents(mom and wife with dad’s card) went crazy at O’lindes for their first grandkids bedroom furniture.

ETA:

Can’t believe I almost forgot this. It was a lifesaver. Graco Duetsoothe swing and rocker. Saved my wife and I from a sleepless night between feedings.

My first girl just turned 4 months yesterday.

A good car seat, a jogging stroller of the same brand (we got a regular stroller handed down and haven’t used it once), something that swings or bounces, a sound machine (one for the bedroom and one that attaches to the car seat), and if you can find them sleepers with double zippers.

Seriously, double zipper sleepers are an absolute savior at 3 am. Snaps are a bitch and you don’t have to basically undress the kid like you do with ones that only zip from the bottom.

I’m not sure if the crib really matters? Just get one that looks nice? I can recommend a mattress!

Our crib converts to a toddler bed (which he is now in as of two weeks ago) and then eventually to a full headboard for a full size bed.

We bought our oldest’s at some furniture store and our most recent for our girl due in January at Buy Buy baby. We just made sure to use a fingernail to scrape up the demo in the store to make sure it would hold up to bite marks.

Definitely for when they turn one. The Chicco keyfit 30 is great for newborns. You need to be able to bring it in restaurants & doctors appointments.

Highly recommend the Nuna Sena playpen. It folds up easy if you take it on vacations or to other peoples’ houses.

If you’re formula feeding you need a Baby Brezza Formula maker.

Maybe a Mamaroo sleeper, but one of ours didn’t care for it, ever.

When they can sit up you need some sort of portable “restaurant chair” - I like the Inglesina ones.

You need a good jogging stroller; it’ll get you both back in shape and kids love strolling. I have twins so I have a mountain buggy duet, it is badass. I don’t know brands to recommend for a single.

buy as shed for the lawn mower but you will use it for a place to hide to get peace and quiet.

stock it with plenty of booze and sme good weed so you dont go insane. also the wife will want her turn hiding in the shed too so she doesnt go insane (well any more then she already is normally)

play pens,

If you can find one that can be opened and collapsed without causing you to want to light it on fire (not with baby in it), you buy that one. I have yet to come across one.

F—K YOU pack and play.
