Resisting arrest does not warrant the death penalty, btw.

Resisting arrest does not warrant the death penalty but it can be a consequence from it...cops should protect their lives first, lets remember most of these suspects are getting arrested for a reason

On July 15, 2017, Justine Damond (née Ruszczyk)[2] a 40-year-old Australian-American woman,[3] was fatally shot by 33-year-old Somali-American Minneapolis Police Department officer Mohamed Noor after she had called 9-1-1 to report the possible assault of a woman in an alley behind her house. Occurring weeks after a high-profile manslaughter trial acquittal in the 2016 police shooting of Philando Castile, also in the Twin Cities metro area

He’s dead, so I’d say he paid a pretty steep price for his actions. Did he escalate them to a point where death was a reasonable consequence? I’d argue he did not. I assume you disagree.

He's dead because of 2 things (in this order)

1. He didn't comply. He complies then we never get to #2
2. The cop pulled out a gun instead of a taser on accident. Inexcusable

There's blame on both sides here. His actions put the cop in a situation where they made a fatal mistake. Ultimately the death was a result of the cop's mistake. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't talk about the dangers of non-compliance.

Yep, I remember that. I also remember him pointing the phone at the cops like it was a gun. Stupid is as stupid does.
