I may be wrong, but the photo's brightness and shadows direction indicates a timeframe around mid morning, far too late for the preferred early morning tee times at Metairie or New Orleans Country Clubs.
My guess is they're headed to Longue Vue for an architectural or botanical observation and study session. A plus is the group rate will save these deserving students a few dollars on admission.

Yes they would. Add Petersburg for sure. Pike County was all baws as well I had to travel the whole region there and it's nothing like that crap in NOLA.

As of late I enjoy seeing/hearing about all the 4 wheelers on not only the city streets but also the interstate. Summertime fun for the kids!
