90s Clinton is essentially a moderate Republican these days

A Bill Clinton speech from circa 1992 doesn’t sound a whole lot different from a 2024 Trump campaign speech in terms of policy, esp regarding immigration.

Political activism while rooted in the hippie generation, really caught fire in the 90's as the beginning of the modern peak clown world.

This.

Also, even though I am Republican, the Starr investigation that made Bill Clinton famous for being a poon hound was the rebirth of character assassinations for political gain. Democrats still haven't gotten over it.

The poon hound stuff had been known and going around since he was the Arkansas governor. Republicans exploited it to get him to lie under oath, then impeach him for perjury, as payback for what the dems did to Nixon.

Someone mentioned perms earlier, that was more 80's, the 90's were the attack of the bangs. Bangs so big and puffed out that they looked like window awnings. Late 90's, gaming changed with the playstation.
