I have to ask this every time. How in the hell was she allowed to disappear for three months and no one has demanded to know why? How is it that a District Judge can take an “unexplained leave of absence” and no attorney has pushed the issue?

Yeah, his schtick doesn’t get as much play as Trudy’s does, but he might well be even more corrupt than she is.

Attorneys won’t push the issue as long as she is still a “defendant’s judge”.
They don’t give a rat’s arse if she shakes down people on probation if it means the difference between probation and hard time like they would get from another judge.

My guess is she was suspended and they kept it on the QT. Probably cut some sort of a deal to keep from being out-and-out disbarred.

Wasn’t Trudy the one who let him off a DUI where he was pissing himself because they claimed the breathalyzer reading was within a standard deviation of the legal limit, meaning a very slim possibility he was sober?

I don’t remember.
I do remember the incident where they found his car, engine still running, in a ditch early one morning and he was nowhere to be found. He claimed he “swerved to miss a dog in the road”.
