I rarely get tailgated because I know how to pass and get back over.

That makes no sense, I'd debate further but I'm driving and don't think I'm going to hit a red light soon.

Yes. If I'm doing 75 and I see a car gaining on me and I can get over, I do. The left lane is only for passing. Not cruising over the limit.
I think people really can't get the concept.
It's not about current speed, it's about flow.

I get tailgated in the center and right lanes just as much as the left. The worst are the idiots that tailgate on a two lane road, as if it will make the cars in front of me go any faster.

Interesting. It must be different based upon what you drive. I drive a truck and I never tailgate people, but I do get tailgated. I think it's fairly equivalent among all different vehicles that tailgate me, though. The one common thing is that they're all stupid.

Yes. The left lane isn’t for cruising. When you have room, move over.

And when I'm trying to pass someone and some other car flys up and rides my arse while I have no room to get over yet...I'm the a-hole?

It's also against the law to drive over the speed limit.

Last week I was on Hwy 22 between Ponchatoula and Madisonville. Had a Baw tailgating me on a motorcycle. Yes I break checked him.

Did he died?
No, I didn't go hard. Just a light tap to show him my brake lights. I was going 55mph which for anyone that knows that stretch of road is nearly impossible most of the time. Dude comes up behind me and was 20 or so feet off my bumper. He had several chances to pass me and never did. I let it go on for about 3 miles. After I brake checked him he backed off.

The speed limit is also the law son. I will allow you to speed but not to the level of a super speeder. I only tolerate moderate recklessness on my watch. I am the regulator and will regulate your speed.
