It says Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Charities USA use up to 95% of donations for the stated mission.
The mission of ferrying illegals across the border and getting them setup in US housing and on government support.

Shriners. St. Jude. Use to donate to La. Masonic Children’s Home til it closed. La. Masonic Educational fund is a good one that furnishes a ton of college scholarships. None of these have crazy high-arse “administrative “ fees.

I used to assume they used it as a tax dodge, but there have been a few articles explaining that they can't. Now, maybe they come up with some shady accounting to get there anyway, but Kroger turning over our donation to charity does not allow Kroger to take a deduction.
Yeah, in order to take the deduction they would need to claim revenue so it would be net $0. But you already understand the game:

I’m tired of the sports and cheer teams shaking buckets at intersections.
I’m tired of the grifters in parking lots at grocery stores. Whether it’s the solo person asking for “a few bucks for gas”, the team trying to make it to regionals, or the battered women’s/ recovering addicts booth set up right outside the entrance to a big box store, I’ve had enough.
