Yeah, the interior decor style is not bad at all. I don't think it is ugly, and don't really know how one could consider that ugly since it's so neutral.

I do tend to prefer it used inside of an older home with character to the layout, though. It's a bit too much for me when it's in a cookie cutter new build, but that's mostly because I don't like that style of house to begin with.

When you add all of the new daylight LEDS on top of the white and grey in kitchens it feels like you are in an operating room.

I had to educate my wife on the different options of warmth and brightness of lightbulbs a few days ago bc surprise she’s painting every surface of the kitchen white right now.

We updated all the lighting in our house right after we bought it earlier this year so each area has the appropriate spectrum. The kitchen has warm light options and daylight options. They daylight ones are getting removed bc she still doesn’t understand the concept. I work in a operating room all day. frick coming home and living in that sterile arse light

i'm slowly starting to replace light bulbs with the wifi ones on dimmers throughout the house. on our remodel, we went overboard on lights because we had so few and it was dark with the brown paint i posted earlier and now it's blinding to have all the light on with the daylight bulbs and halo recess lights she chose.

I rage a little bit when I see a beautiful brick house painted white. That shite hurts my heart.
I'm in the middle of a rehab for an elderly relative to have a rent house, and we HAPPILY painted that 70s era pink brick white. It looks 1000% better than before.

ut? Being able to fit your large cooking things in the bin is priceless for me. But I cook a lot and do dishes a lot. What am I missing?
Nothing. The divided sinks are largely preposterous.

This is the kitchen in our house.
Looks nice enough, but I'm not sure I've ever seen the sink so far removed from all the other appliances. You need another sink on the island.

Awful, especially on a bathroom. Zero privacy for shitting and they aren’t airtight either

Yeah I never fill up the sink or keep anything in it for more than 3 minutes. Bigger helps with cleaning the bigger stuff.

My house had popcorn ceilings and the fake wood beams in the living room. After the flood of 2016 if it looked like 1978 it had to go. 95% did.
