Completely understand that, which goes back to my previous point - people that are willing to volunteer for that possibility may be more likely as a general population to commit suicide for whatever reason.

As far as traditional jobs among men, construction and extraction workers are the highest suicide rates. They’re five times as likely to commit suicide as someone who works in education. I don’t think being a construction worker makes the average person 5x more likely to commit suicide than a teacher, but I could believe that people who are attracted to the construction field may have some sort of attribute that makes suicide far more likely than people who are attracted to the education field.

Hopefully that makes sense.
