Ever think about how tiny little things decided your future

If you take where your life is at now, then trace your steps backwards through time you'll find small little decisions made a huge impact on where you're at now.
For example you were born a month later, you would have been in a different group of classmates, which changes your group of friends, which changes your life experiences, which changes where you decide to go to college, which changes where you meet your SO, which changes where you live...
Take anything in your life that you love or hate and you can backtrack to the beginning.

I think about this a lot. So many transformative moments in my life came down to random chance or snap decisions.

Little decisions have massive impacts over a lifetime. It is something that I think about often

The road not taken
Robert Frost, 1874 - 1963. ... Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Why put yourself through that?

Mostly reflection. I don't beat myself up over it or anything. Some were good, some bad.

If my mom decided to induce a day later, I would have been born under a different astrological sign and my personality would be completely different

To me, the most improbable event is that swim by some 200 million sperm towards the egg our mothers provided during copulation with our fathers. Only one won but it must have been a photo finish.
There are so many variables that had to have happened exactly as they did for me to have been born that it seems inconceivable, pun intended. Even if my Dad had sneezed, or didn't sneeze, before mounting Mom it could have affected the outcome, again, pun intended.
We are each a 1-in-200,000,000 chance human. Yet I can never even win on a damn scratch-off lottery ticket.

At the risk of oversimplifying, the "Butterfly Effect" describes your premise. I can't go there in my head for more than a few moments. Might get vapor lock.
