I normally don't squat in front the oven prior to opening it, so no.
But I have burnt the shite out of arm on the racks attempting to take stuff out before.

I get so anxious to see those ribs I put in the smoker that I routinely inundate myself with hickory smoke. Not the worst mistake to make.

Nine times out of ten. 
In my defense, I use my big oven maybe once every couple of months since getting my Breville toaster oven, and that's part of the reason I forget.
