Ok, for all those who mentioned something sports related, what did you replace that void with?

Used to eat, sleep, and pursue duck hunting relentlessly. Traded it in as I got tired of dealing with dumbasses on the water and politics where I had a lease.

Music.

Musician since high school. Played in local bands. Loved and lived music since way before that. Grew up, got a career and made the mistake of listening to talk radio during the day. Totally fell off all things music.

The good news is that I quit that miserable job after nearly of decade of working somebody else. Started my own business and totally am back into music again. There was so many good bands and albums that I had missed out on. it was very refreshing catching up on everything.

If I'm home I'll watch Saints/LSU. If the weather is nice and time allows I'll listen to it while I'm fishing.

Caring for a sports team. I still watch a lot of football, but now I just kind of root for good storylines and a good game.

Deer hunting… Used to hunt every possible day. Just got kind of bored with it, and not interested in paying an insane amount of money to do it. I’ll still go occasionally on family land, but I’m not hunting hard. Just enjoying nature for an afternoon and if something I want to shoot happens to walk out, I’ll shoot it.

Golf… Got to where I wasn’t playing enough to maintain a decent golf game, so I’d get frustrated as hell. Might play twice a year now in school fundraiser scrambles and our church does a big scramble to celebrate the Scottish heritage of the Presbyterians.

My last sports interest was the Saints, and I dropped the NFL after Caperdick and the kneeling five years ago.

What's funny is how little I miss it. I just do other things now.

College sports for the most part. I try but I am just not interested especially when the team turns over so much year to year.

I have been following the Pelicans more closely than any other sports team.

LSU football. Once I had seen the best, the rest was just okay. Something to do.

It’s the best example I have. I’m watching this game in silence and feel absolutely nothing.

Duck hunting. Grew up hunting with friends whose dads owned rice farms in jeff Davis parish. Tried the wax a few times. After about 30 years, just not mad at the ducks anymore

Sports in general. I still watch college but no pro stuff anymore. Politics and massive contracts for divas has ruined it for me.
Guitars, I have ten that I really don't pickup anymore. I'm trying to get back into it.
