The worst.

My manager was told by the higher ups that he had to hire a black female to fill a recent vacancy, despite the fact that she was not the person he recommended for the position. Turns out that HR was pressuring our division to have more "affirmative action" hires. My team is already very diverse. We have the diversity spectrum covered from just about every angle...race, age, sexual orientation, gender, veteran status, and religious affiliation. My immediate supervisor is female and even she didn't want to hire the woman in question. The new woman complained on her first day that her cube was too far from the exterior windows and bathrooms. She's also been late several times. I can tell that it's not gonna work out and we are dealing with a potential shite show in the making.
