BOARDING A CRUISE SHIP IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS
THE POOL DECK CAN BE A PREFECT PLACE TO RELAX AND WORK ON YOUR TAN
SOMETIMES FRISKY DOLPHINS WILL BE PLAYING IN THE WAKE
but you'll be seeing a whole lot of this
MAGICAL STATEROOMS WITH FLOOR TO CEILING WINDOWS
BATHROOMS ON PAR WITH A LUXURY HOTEL!
DINNER IS LIKE DINING IN A FANCY RESTAURANT UNDER THE STARS
ho ho ho

So which trashy cruise line do you work for?

That's why I don't go on poor people cruises.

I'd rather spend 5-7 days in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, or Costa Rica at an AI resort than a cruise.

Great apples to apples comparison there.

Well if we're talking the caribbean ya. I've never been on a caribbean cruise for that reason.
Just Alaska and a Nordic one. Next up will be Antarctica.

I love cruises. Girls will talk to me because they know they will never see me again.

My wife has begged me to go on for years but I have always refused.
I would rather not see alot of people on vacation. Especially all of those overweight 50 yr old women in cute matching t shirts.

thats where i'm at. i'll do disney for the kids but if its an adult vacation count me out of the CATTLE CALL.
i dont get how anyone can prefer a vacation with a bunch of people (scummy or otherwise) over a quiet getaway with your SO.
i guess if you're 20 and single this might be appealing...

Only cruise I'll do is a Viking River Cruise through Europe.

Cruises are fun I don’t care what any of y’all say.

Cruises are fun with the right company and the right expectations. If you go bargain shopping for a cruise, I don’t know what people expect they will get in return

Vacation wise, I’d never enjoy any sort of vacation that involved crowds and waiting in line.
I’m assuming that crews ships put every last person they can on a ship so I’ve always assumed I’d hate a cruise.
Plus, I am bothered on principle by places that trap you in their confines and then charge exorbitant prices for everything simply because there is no competitive influence.
That’s “get out of my yard” stuff but also why a cruise would aggravate the shite out of me.

The in laws live on a farm in bumfrick Arkansas with no cable or WiFi and I have more fun that’s more of a relaxing vacation than any cruise I’ve ever been on, especially during hunting season.
The moonshine helps too.

You sit down for dinner in the dining room so there are no lines there. There are many places to eat all over the ship so there aren't really lines there.
I'm not someone who loves crowds, but honestly it's not bad.

There's different cruises for all types of people. If you pay enough, you'll exclude the people you dislike.

Scruffy went on an Alaska cruise and enjoyed it for what it was.
The days where you are confined and at sea kinda sucks and Scruffy got tired of it near the end.
The trips on land were the best part and Alaska is now on the list of places to visit.
Plus, the amount of trash present was severely diminished. Lots of Europeans and Canadians.
