I've traveled quite a lot and worked for multiple euro companies. It's no comparison. I cannot think of one obese european coworker, vendor, customer. I know of a couple minorly overweight but zero obese (250+).
I probably could sit down and make a list of 100+ colleagues and customers in the eastern US that are 250+ in a few minutes.

It’s the food. It’s always the food. Look at the shite we have in our food. It’s no wonder we, as a country, are fat, with all sorts of health problems.
