I plan on going to the OakHills sale tomorrow morning, hope to find some treasures.

I might see you there. I want to go through some of the books.

I did find 20 graded cards for 25¢ each last year, all graded 8.5-10.

This is what terrifies me - just having a card graded by PSA is $100 per card now. I can't imagine someone sticking some of my cards out on a table and asking $.25 - lol - I have a 1986 Topps Traded Tiffany Bo Jackson PSA 10 that would probably fetch $5-$6k alone, and that's just one of them. I'll come back from the grave and haunt anyone that sells that stuff for a fricking quarter.

The lady having the garage sale was a complete bitch, she was even rude to my daughter, that’s why I didn’t say anything when my daughter answered her with a smart arse comment.
I hope the lady’s husband came home and fricking flipped out, “You fricking sold my card collection for 25¢ a card!!!” I also got three Cal Ripken rookies for 25¢ each, and my daughter got some rare Star Wars cards for 25¢ each.

When selling on EBAy, do you set reserves or buy now prices?

I usually set my opening bid lower than the lowest selling price, and I’ll add the “make an offer” feature, set to at least my minimum bid.

I don’t set a reserve, I just start my auction at my minimum.

Some people don’t get this. If the item is a set price (not auction), the make an offer is so you can ask the seller if he will take less than his set price.
A make an offer on an auction item, the seller is asking the seller how much are you willing to pay for the item (over the opening bid).

I owned that Hound of the Far Side book. I wish I still had it. I don't know what I did with my Far Side books I amassed as a teenager.
