Wasn't doing this, but just heard about it and am pissed. Was hoping to do the race next year. I can't believe we've gotten to the point where we are worried about being insensitive to rapists and murderers.

theyre not worried about offending the prisoners, they are worried about making prison seem cool. both are stupid

Some of the emails and stuff they've received definitely alluded to Angola formerly having slaves and that it currently houses a disproportionate amount of blacks. Then all these white triathletes go play pretend. Saw that in another article.

Had no idea this got cancelled again. They were supposed to hold one last year that burl approved. When the doc superintendent in br heard about, he axed that shite quick since people would be swimming thru a lake "filled with alligators and snakes'
