After all these years I still haven't been able to forgive Clapton for killing Stevie Ray Vaughan.

It doesn’t matter how you think COVID will or has affected you, you MUST get the vaccine and like it. Don’t talk about those pesky side effects you may get even though a vast majority of people are fine with the virus. shite, a large number don’t even know they have it or only minor symptoms if you are of a lower age and semi healthy status.

Everyone did, and they STILL do. Being ignorant of that fact says how little they know of blues and rock actually. Be prepared to throw out most everyone you know if that’s the line in the sand.

yeah, just funning, as a guitar hack he's one of my heroes, I know he's a narcissistic, re-writing history, d-bag but I've read just about everything that's ever been available to read on him

Well his old arse would for sure die if he got covid so he should feel lucky. He is touring again playing his terrible anti vaccine song, so whatever "ailment" it is, it cant be too bad.

A lot of people rippled off the blues but they don't try sue musicians pretending they invented it. It's like NIV translators getting sued by King James descendants like they wrote the bible or something.

oh hell yeah, Clapton was there before on "while my guitar gently weeps," but you always hear that Preston was the first... maybe because he played with them on top of the studio?

Kinda like George fricking Ringo’s wife?

Also, George didn’t even care. Called Clapton his husband in law I believe.

rock nerdness alert:

Clapton (a massive douche BTW) was invited to play on George’s song in the 1968 sessions for the white album. While it was widely known he played on that song, he was uncredited.

Preston (a pervert pedophile) participated in the 1969 abbey road studio sessions for the “get back” album which was credited as “the Beatles with billy Preston” becoming the first outside musician to gain credit on a Beatles album. He also contributed as a credited musician to “abbey road”.

carry on with the Clapton abuse as he richly deserves it. There is not a more self-aggrandizing artist alive today with as little merit for it.
