Go for it, you still have been talking out of your arse this entire thread. It's pretty obvious to all of us.

Clearly as im the one referencing FIFA payouts regarding a lawsuit against the US Soccer Federation. Those people are way less full of shite referencing something that's literally 0% relevant to the suit.

Explain to me how revenue generating opportunities are irrelevant to the claim.

I used to be against them crying for equal pay, but from a pure capitalistic stand point it makes sense. They work more (women have played more games than men) and generate more money (women jersey and ticket sales have exceeded men). It's simple capitalism.... if your labor is worth more, you should be paid more. If ever the script flips and they go back to generating less than the men...they SHOULD make less, but for now...that's not the case

After that putrid loss last night to Mexico, the pay should not be equal. The men should get paid less.

You know very little about capitalism.

the women’s team doesn’t show as much nipple as the men’s team, so i don’t see how they deserve equal pay..

Equal pay for equal nipple showing.

What exactly did I say that was wrong. In my workplace we have people who work more hours than others. They get more money because of this. I have therapists who have higher degrees and thus command more money from insurance reimbursement and thus earn a higher pay rate. It seems like a pretty common tenant of capitalism that you earn what you are worth to the workplace...I applied this to the USWNT...how am I wrong?

Are you talking about women's soccer as a whole, or just USWNT?

FIFA is an international organization. I seriously doubt there is equal interest in both mens and womens soccer world-wide.

just the US federation. If I'm not mistaken the USWNT is only suing the US federation, not FIFA. I have no idea what the numbers look like around the world, but I doubt other women's national teams have the same leg to stand on.

The pay structure is ties to the CBA, which teams ratify.

Lots of good stuff in here, looks like not all make less than men and they have a guaranteed salary unlike the men

Maybe ditch the union and bargain individually.

Who is more valuable: an employee who makes 10 million in 20 days or an employee who makes 11 million in 35 days?

From that article:
quote:

The new agreement has provisions that may reduce the difference in bonuses for friendly games and tournaments, but there is — without question and for whatever reasons — still a massive gap between men’s and women’s World Cup bonuses.

I'd imagine it just might have something to do with
quote:

Total prize money for the Women’s World Cup in 2019 is $30 million — the champions will walk away with about $4 million. For contrast, in the 2018 Men’s World Cup, the champions won $38 million from a total pool of about $400 million.

The men don’t need the national team. The women do. Even scrubs like Tim Ream make over a mill per year from their club alone. The women are nothing without the national team. They couldn’t make a living wage playing soccer without it.

Like I said earlier, the men could play for another country (some) or not play internationally if it was too big a risk.

Exactly the stupidity that these idiots are suggesting. It's like a conspiracy to destroy common sense.
