Unless Graves is lying or telling his own half truth

I fail to see what Graves would gain by lying here. That’s an easily verifiable lie that the EPA could correct immediately. He would look totally clownish if he was caught doing so. Graves may not have a college degree, but he’s not stupid. I can’t see him walking into an obvious trap like that. Graves’s issue is that he’s usually too calculated , polished, and prone to fence-sitting; not that he has a tendency to rush to judgment, misrepresent facts, and/or shoot from the hip.

It doesn’t seem like Graves to lie in this situation.

See this is a 4th option that would make Graves a liar, still. Either these NDAs exist or they don't. He says they don't.

Why would this make him a liar? If Mayor Broome made her employees working on this sign an NDA then what exactly is Graves lying about?

Well the question is if the NDAs exist or not. That's binary. If they exist, he wasn't telling (the full) truth.

If they don't exist, then Broome and co. are not telling (the full) truth.

I imagine the existence of these NDAs would be subject to FOIA. Why doesn't Kiran get to work?

I'm not the dipshit claiming to believe the mayor's "half truths".

Tell me, genius, the reasoning for Graves lying. Explain, in detail, his history of telling lies, and why in this particular scenario, Graves would lie, despite how easily he could be "fact-checked" by the liberal EPA. I'll wait.

You have been noticeably more anti-republican lately. You’ve always been a libertarian, and usually called out both sides, but I have noticed a change just in the last month. You seemed to go from “Trump’s not great but he’s better than Joe Biden”, to “all republicans are liars who need to be imprisoned”. It’s a really stark about face. I feel like you’re experimenting with a new character or mostly trolling, but something feels off.

You mean, like breaking this story? What about Kiran's work, tells you she won't?

Granted Broome and Paul won't grant her access because they don't recognize her a journalist, despite winning an Emmy and Murrow award for...JOURNALISM.

He said they don't exist with the Fed Gov specifically. The Mayor could have had employees working on it sign them to keep them quiet.

It has been a little longer than a month. It is when he got a GF. You hate to see it but they morph into whatever their GF is.

Not specifically. I'm against the extremist elements and echo chamber-nature that's really ramped up during Q (and then January 6).

People are big mad about Ukraine because the intelligentsia who creates their echo chambers told them to be against the Ukraine conflict. That's about 75% of the drama. Extremists want extremist positions and respond in extreme ways. Par for the course, especially with people who can only copy and paste what they are funneled.

To be honest, there’s three explanations:
1. The mayor wasn’t lying, but the NDA’s are with DEQ not EPA (this should raise even more questions as it could tie back to the governor)
2. The mayor was lying, but the local EPA didn’t even know she was making those statements because the public’s attention wasn’t on them, and the media wasn’t questioning them.
3. The mayor was lying, and the EPA was onboard because they’re looking to get some sort of kickback from all of this.

I was called a Broome supporter for floating this as an option. Be careful.

The wording from WAFB reads like it was an internal NDA, honestly.

Um, the mayor's office telling a half truth about an NDA they probably don't have to sign isn't making them "innocent", bubba.

An NDA and a timetable which do not exist, according to the EPA.
