Looking to replace some flooring. What sorta cost am I looking at for these options. I have a rep coming out this week from a flooring company but I'm trying to get a cost idea before they come out.
TIA

Go to Home Depot and look at the prices.

I kind of like the ceramic planks that look like wood. May be a cheaper option and imo looks better.

Somewhere between $1sf and $100

1" rubber mats for horse stalls are really cheap, get 'em at Tractor Supply.

Engineered is cheap shite. Baller or no?

Yea. Home Depot/ Lowes pricing options are a good bet.
I was just in Montgomery, AL for work and for like 180 sq. ft, kitchen, Laminate flooring was around $1000-$1500 bucks to put down flooring.
Now that includes base shoe because that stuff breaks easily when you try to take it off.

If you are putting this on slab, I would strongly consider the tile that looks like wood.

Think we are doing engineered in our new house. Laying directly on slab. Cost was an issue for us so we went with engineered. There are some really nice engineered floors and some really cheap ones: ours was around $4.50/sq ft for material.

A dog and kids will tear engineered floors up. Waste of money. Stain the concrete, tile, or real hard woods. Don't go cheap.

Some of those "wood" tile floors look really good.

Engineered wood is garbage. Pay extra and get the ceramic tile that looks like wood. We put engineered wood in our last house and it sucked donkey dick. Scratched at the drop of a hat.

Anyone have a ballpark price of the ceramic installed per sq ft?

Call SES Enterprises if you are in NOLA.

We have bamboo and I love them.
Cheap. And the most durable thing ever. I have cracked ceramic tile, bamboo laughs off 140lb dogs playing chase with long nails.

Yeah, right. If that were the case I'd have mats in my stall

I put engineered in the houses I flip. They're half the price of real wood and look great. You can even refinish them once or twice but no more than that is recommend ed. The last I bought were from Lowes and around $4.50 sqft.
Real hardwoods start around $8.00 sqft

Our dogs really damaged our cherry floors...putting Cali bamboo in the new house. Put down a test section and not a scratch.
