Well I just wrote a check for floor tickets for my wife and I to go. It'll be our first time going.

Don't listen to all of the negativity here. Half of these dicks will be looking for tickets come February. Yall will have a great time, especially on the floor.

Now that that's out of the way... Pics of the wife?

Don't put any liquor or wine or beer that you care about on the tables when the floats are entering. They're like targets. Be careful in the pit as the floats come in. People dump everything left in the dome. Make sure you're paying attention and don't get hit in the head.

Enjoy it. It's a blast.

As always, I will bomb anyone with a tigerdroppings.com poster. I always laugh my arse off when I see two or three every year

Depends on where your seats are. They range from 200 on the floor, 250 in loge with food and a bar, to 300 up by the stage. JBE added taxes this year which is why tickets are a bit higher than normal.

That's a $800-$1000 night by the time everything is said and done.

I bought a tux years ago. If you live near NOLA and attend events like these it will pay for itself in no time.

Loge and Bunker have open bar and buffet so with the initial cost of the ticket plus an Uber ride home, I've had 12+ hours of viewing some GREAT talent(And I'm not just talking about Luke Bryan ) for considerably less than $1000.

After the first few times going to Orpheuscapade/ Extravaganza, I won't do Mardi Gras any other way.
