It's an easy formula to figure out now.

Act 1) big name recognition that's way past their prime
Act 2) whoever had a great act at Congo stage this year
Act 3) a band that keeps people dancing

I saw KC at endymion c'98/'99. They were as irrelevant then as now. Still had fun.

Luke Bryant was a fricking joke.

Not any worse than fricking Pitbull.

Yea I didn't make it that late. I started pregaming at walk-on's early that morning and apparently a few slow Aerosmith songs was the key to passing out.

I like KISS, BUT they fricking blow live. I saw them at voodoo a few years ago and it was one of the worst live acts I've ever seen.

They might be OK if Paul Stanley keeps his fricking mouth shut between solos. And no one cares about Simmons stupid blood spitting bass solo.

That said, I'll take them over Pitbull, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and whatever other shitty country and pop stars they trotted out the last 4 years. Maroon 5 actually put on a good show 5 years ago. I don't like their music, but they were high-energy and got the crowd involved.

Steve Tyler actually did a good job last year.

Florider is not bad and everyone knows the words to half of KC's cheese music. I'm sure they'll be fine too.

This should be a better year musically than it has been the last 4 years.

You could pay the Soul Rebels 5k and they'd blow the roof off the place

Soul Rebels, Dirty Dozen, and Big Sam's Funky Nation would be absolutely amazing.

since I've been going to extravaganza, my favorites have been Kid Rock/REO Speedwagon and Pat Benetar/Train...

Maroon 5 was ok and I was ok with Luke Bryan...

thumbs down on Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood....

triple thumbs down on Lynard Skynard....

No way you have seen them live then. Watched the in Vegas with Motley Crue and was one of the best concerts ever.

My kids actually love KISS. After some scooby doo meets KiSS movie they saw that's all they want to listen to. I doubt Endymion is the time to introduce them to the band live. Might be too much for a 10 and 6 y/o!

Nah, they had KISS lunchboxes for elementary school kids back in the day.

Nothing in their live act will traumatize anybody. Gene spitting up his fake blood constantly and occasionally breathing fire is as bad as it gets.

They paid to see Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryant.

Music isn't top of the list of many people's reasons to go to Extravaganza in my opinion

Did you read the next sentence?

To be fair, it was at Voodoo and they are definitely more an arena rock band than a concert and field rock band.

Agreed, but I definitely think big acts help draw bigger crowds.

It honestly sounds like a pretty fun line up.

Glad that pop country shite phase has passed

Well the Endymion Extravaganza does have an age limit also, so there is that little problem.

So would finding/renting a tux plus seating costs for a 6 year old. Unless of course you're OT baller.
