Elvis was loving towards towards all races, but especially the black race. When his daughter was born he told Nancy Sinatra how he felt so bad for less privileged kids (specifically black).

Didn't realize it was his birthday - that explains the Elvis movie marathon on TCM.

Fats Domino said he sang "Blueberry Hill" every night for Elvis Presley, calling him a great friend and a wonderful man.

True story: I actually really like peanut butter and banana. One of the many things I have in common with Elvis.
Well, that and the sideburns.
OK, 2 things.

Elvis ? Racist? Now this is a new one.

The one thing people apparently do not want today is unity and for racial divisions to ever disappear into the background. They do everything in their power to maintain any and all perceived racial divisions. I’d argue that in many regards, America is more divided than it’s ever been because people will not forgive, forget, and just let it die and move on to second base. The constant grudge absolutely must never die.
Hatred is much more familiar and comfortable to them than forgiveness and unity is, and you know who they are because their entire lives are overflowing with nastiness so that you simply cannot be around them without getting it all over you as well.
