It's basically a brain/CPU interface that will allow your brain to instantly access networks without the bottleneck of having use your hands to control a device.
In other words, instant access to the internet
I hope it has built in ad blocker.

Elon needs to the lay off the...whatever the hell he's doing to himself.

This product and company will dwindle into the night just like Solar City and the Boring Company. This guy is embarrassing himself.

And after about the 3rd time you said something false that I called you on with links, you shuffled off and stopped replying.
But hey, we should definitely trust you on all things Elon Musk companies!!!

I bumped that thread, yesterday. They just cut the price of the most decked out Model 3 by 10%.
Price - lower
Quantity Demanded - same
Demand - lower
He's riding price down the demand curve and you think that means high demand? They have ran through their backlog of orders and ZEV credits and every new market they hit growth cannot be sustained because non-Californians do not accept that low level quality of a vehicle and service so they can virtue signal.
Are you retarded?

Which runs the risk of creating dementia cases like we have never seen Think about it - retrieving unlearned data with no understanding or time to cultivate that knowledge has been proven to reduce brain cognition and the ability to focus over time. The neuro-pathways to create information, knowledge, memories, and concepts would atrophy. We might know everything and be the most retarded generation in history
Thats not how any of this works.
Dementia surely isn’t caused my increasing neural connectivity. This is likely the opposite.
You cannot retrieve unlearned data, idk what that is called but retrieval refers to recalling a stored memory.
Neuro pathways do not create memories/info. They are created as you learn/develop new info/memories/behaviors/concepts. Atrophy occurs when you are losing a memory trace due to non-use of info.
My understanding of the presentation was that it would essentially add pipelines that can communicate with and amplifies neuron signals. They talked about restoring function for upper motor neuron type problems so it seems like the goal is increasing communication and connectivity. Potentially could help relay signals that damaged brain regions were responsible for sending. very very impressive and exciting concept.
The surgery imaging and avoiding blood vessels is legit. But hard pass to being awake during implantation, I want to be asleep for brain surgery if possible.

Musk may or may not be responsible for successfully launching this product but brain/computer interfaces will likely be very commonplace in the next 25 years especially for those with medical needs. He is definitely not the only one working on this technology

I don't think you understand what I am saying at all.
The introduction of the calculator did what to overall mind math?
The introduction of information at our fingertips and spoon-fed opinions did what for our critical thinking?
If we integrate essentially all information directly into our brains - all the internet, we end up not needing to use the parts of our brains required to gain and maintain knowledge at a rate we haven't seen before.
One of the keys to staving off dementia is to continue to use our brains now and learn new things as we get old - always learning new things.
For a large segment of society, having the information already "pre-loaded" at all times would discourage the process of actually expanding their brains leading to increased chances of dementia later.

In that bumped thread, did you reply to the links I posted regarding resale value that made you run away from that original thread? Or did you just keep ignoring them?

Having read some of the negative comments regarding success of the idea and concept..
This is happening. Nothing will stop it. It will be instrumental in the upcoming moment of singularity.
I'm speaking on the morality or probable negative consequences to human existence as we know it, only on the absolute certainty this is coming. We can only hope to try and contain as long as possible. There will come the day, when containment will no longer be possible.

Musk is about to get another big check from the US government. Dude is a master at that
Posted on 7/18/19 at 2:45 pm to shel311
Do you know what demand is? They have lowered pricing more than half a dozen times since December. That is not an indication of high demand. You are a complete lunatic. Do you know how to read financial data?

Doesnt that invalid from Xmen use something similar to try and destroy the planet? Same thing with Big Hero 6
Damn kids got me watching too many of their movies over here sounding like a nerd

Its a double edged sword imo but its an interesting discussion.

Isnt anybody that carries a smartphone at this point already. Like Musk said smartphones pretty much make us cyborgs now. This tech would allow quicker access but as far as it leading to dementia IDK. When I pick up my phone to learn how the rings of Saturn formed while waiting for a dental appt am I not learning something new and exercising my brain as opposed just sitting there thinking about eating another Popeyes chicken sandwich.

I don't know why it's so difficult, you said stuff that was wrong, it was factually wrong. I don't know what else to tell you if you won't simply acknowledge the obvious...that you said a lot of wrong shite.

I can't remember but I'm guessing you provided a link about the S. I've already told you nobody cares about the S's resale value, they're decent cars.
So you take Tesla's own gross margin at face value. Can't make this up, folks
You must be adding the additional $200K that the car's value will increase once it's fully autonomous and it will make money for you

I can't remember but I'm guessing you provided a link about the S

The "I can't remember" is when you shuffled away because you saw I was right that all 3 vehicles and Tesla, as a whole, had the best resale value out there, but you went off on me stating I was soooooo incorrect.
quote:What does that even mean? They have great resale value. Your argument as to why they don't is that "no one cares" legit makes zero sense whatsoever.
I've already told you nobody cares about the S's resale value
quote:I've now noticed that anything factual you don't like, you just call it a lie or make things up. Tesla has great resale value...not true because nobody cares!!! Tesla doesn't actually lose money every vehicle they sell...NOT TRUE, not because you have proof but just because, right?
So you take Tesla's own gross margin at face value. Can't make this up, folks
Your "just cause I think so" excuses with no proof whatsoever is getting a bit tired, especially when I'm providing factual proof to debunk everything you say.

Model S sales are not growing and are getting canabalized by the 3 and the ASP is dropping significantly. It also doesn't drive the valuation in any meaningful way. So it makes a ton of sense.
You're unhinged. You should buy up a few thousand shares and tell me how funny it is in 3 years. You're dumbassery is "ramping exponentially"
