I haven’t heard but it’s a shitty location.

I agree. But all of the location scouts for major corporations love that area. I was told that the proximity to malls and movie theaters is one of the main things they look for when building new restaurants.

Lol, not at you, the mall is nonexistent. Movie theater is located in another shitty part of town.

Apparently they don’t care. A location scout wanted me to put a restaurant on that corner where the little portable building restaurant is. I said no thanks

Olive Garden is fine for what it is. Not sure about the Italian restaurant scene in Ellick, but I doubt they have more than a couple in town.

Funny because i always assumed there was an olive garden somewhere in ellick.

Ellick and Houma are close in regional population totals, but Houma has had an Olive Garden for over 20 years. It has been about 10 years since I did the AYCE Soup salad and breadsticks.

On the flip side if Hooters did a bottomless boneless wings and fries special, First I would go into cardiac arrest from consuming all those wings, but I would go there more. So there is an idea jmarto1 to boost sales. Here is the kicker put it on Friday’s during Lent.

Soup & Salad Restaurant (That’s the only thing worth eating when I find myself there.)

We did it once upon a time. Funny thing, a ranked competitive eater from Chauvin would come in and train. Dude would pound 250 bone in wings no problem

There are no boneless wings - those are chicken strips or nuggets

It’s pricey too for microwaved food. They did have good seasonal pumpkin cheesecake though.

We go to the Olive Garden about twice a year after mass.

I enjoy it for lunch.

To hell with what anyone else has to say about it.

Clearly not you. OG is still awesome considering it’s Louisiana and we don’t have any good Italian places
there are two local places better than OG. But I’m glad it’s coming. The surrounding communities will flock to it and spend some money here. Every drop in the bucket helps when your bucket is emptying

So you close down a better Italian place to open up another?

Makes sense..
