What would be the end game for Russia wanting to seize Aleppo?
Russia doesn't want a middle eastern oil pipeline that connects to Europe

quote:syria being a part of the russian sphere of influence has been one of their more important pieces of international diplomacy going as far back as the soviet union when they shared a border. and not to mention the fact that syria lets them have a naval port on the mediterranean which is huge. they have historically had a really strong relationship with syria and they do not want that to change. and thats also before we get into oil pipelines and shite
What are the strategical benefits of capturing Aleppo?

A naval base in Tartus, Syria. That's why they're helping Assad. The Russians get access to the Med in return.

Do they still have those super macho uniforms?
There was one of these fellows who went to my WLC class back in the day. He was a cool guy and cracked us up by jumping on the pull-up bar and swinging all the way around while smoking nasty unfiltered cigarettes.

Agree. All the former Soviet countries are expecting the same op on their soil.
