He isn’t wrong about dirtiest and smelliest.
Can’t agree with him on the food though. If he doesn’t eat pork that’s a personal preference and crawfish isn’t for everyone.

The food isn't bad, but I prefer the cajun version of dishes that are usually more creole inspired in NO.

People I’ve encountered from literally all over the world usually have one of two opinions of New Orleans:
1. They’ve been - the food is amazing
2. Never been - would like to specifically for the food
You hear a lot about Mardi Gras, accents, party city, and the like. But the food is always king to tourists.
