The absolute brute strength of elephants is sort of terrifying. Just flipping over large vehicles like a kid playing with hot wheels.

And I’m not sure if ole boy in the first clip of that video survived or not after being stomped on, but he is damn lucky that elephant missed (by mere inches) with that kick as it was about to run away. Jesus.

Don’t know.
Seems like it’d be the opposite.

Yes, pent up frustration from having smaller peepee.

Maybe they worship elephants and not cows.

They do.

Elephant worship in India centers on the elephant-headed deity Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, symbolizing wisdom, strength, and good fortune, with elephants seen as his living embodiment. This reverence extends to real elephants, especially in temples and festivals (like Vishwakarma Puja), where they are adorned, fed, and treated as sacred beings or vehicles (vahana) of gods like Indra, reflecting deep cultural beliefs where humans and elephants coexist with divine significance

Absolutely a case of FAFO. Raj gonna dick with a beast that weighs 1000x more than him and not expect to become Indian pudding.

100 % no. It's why you only ever see Asian elephants around humans. No point in even trying to train/domesticate African elephants.

That’s the final straw. I’m just never going to go to India.

Serious question: do elephants also drink bottled water? In India it’s known that people can’t drink or even swim in local lakes, rivers, etc, so how do elephants get water?
