That's a new one for me. Love eggrolls though

quote:
A Florida Woman who was pulled over early yesterday claimed that her erratic driving was “due to her eating an eggroll” while behind the wheel, according to police who arrested the motorist on DUI and narcotics possession charges.
quote:
When a sheriff’s deputy approached driver Maria Jurgilewicz, 45, “the defendant had a distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath.” Jurgilewicz, the cop added, had “difficulty following simple instructions” and “her speech appeared to be slurred and mumbled.”
quote:
Asked about her erratic “driving pattern” Jurgilewicz “claimed it was due to her eating an eggroll while driving.”
quote:
While arrest affidavits make no mention of an egg roll (or egg roll fragments) being found in Jurgilewicz’s auto, cops did seize “several different types of pills,” including the opioid Tramadol, from the car. A straw with “white powdered residue on the inside was found near the pills,”

Surprised she didn't offer to Jurgilewicz the officer in the back seat of his car to get out of being arrested.

tramadol is like a sugar pill compared to hydrocodone

It was non-scheduled then they modified it years ago to a schedule IV. It's pretty ridiculous they mention it in the article like it's heroin or something.

Some states classify it as a narcotic

Great, now I want a couple of egg rolls. I know what I'm having for lunch today.

Stupid cop. He obviously needs to learn the difference between the smell of alcohol and egg rolls.
