I laugh at people in Louisiana telling us who actually live here in Atlanta what is a bad area and what ain't or lump everything w/Atlanta in it as "mUh, bAd!"
Atlanta stretches from the Alabama border almost in the west to the foot of the Smokeys/Blue Ridge in the North/NE to almost Lake Oconee in the East to halfway to Macon in the South. Atlanta is fricking huge. Almost 7 million people.

Now that is a solid lead

I mean, you don’t have to completely exaggerate to get the point across.
It’s 60 miles from Atlanta to the Alabama border on I-20. It would be like me saying New Orleans almost stretches to BR!

Well, here is a picture;
Ram crew cab with long box and Cummins. White with grey on the bottom.
A bit better description to put out than "white truck".
Obviously they have the truck, but that could narrow down the owner.
Pic of family

So he abandoned the truck and fled on foot or did he take a golf cart?

They are not very descriptive, but it would seem he was on foot when spotted.
BUt apparently not apprehended.

Investigators also found a white Ram 3500 pick-up truck parked on the green. Two other bodies were found in the bed of the truck. Both had been shot.
One of the two bodies found in the truck’s bed was identified as Paul Pierson, the registered owner of the truck. The third victim has not yet been identified.
There is no word on whether or not Pierson and the third victim are connected to the country club.

The private course sits along McCollum Parkway near Kennesaw State University’s main campus.
The university sent out an alert out warning students about the shooting. They said the suspect is a Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt, work pants and possibly a hat. He is 6'1'' and weighs around 170 lbs.
The suspect has not yet been identified or located.
A GoFundMe has been set up to benefit Siller’s family. As of 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening, it had raised more than $112,000. If you’d like to donate to it, you can click here. gofundme link

looking at this pic again - it looks like the truck is high centered. Maybe the perp was trying to flee, got stuck and the golf pro was just unfortunate to approach the vehicle.

It's 50 miles from the Western edge of the city limits to the Bama line. I ain't exactly exaggerating, baw

I used to play at a course in eastern Puerto Rico in the early 90's, where they would have an armed guard accompany golfers on the back nine.
