What prediction have I made? That prices won't bounce back?

It's too late for that even to be a prediction of anything.

Dude, you just said inflation is 0% and implied inflation could stay flat by changing up the goods being measured. Come on.

And I do think prices at all points in the chain will start falling. And the numbers bear that our out, if you know how to read them.

This where you made a prediction and then said there was data to support it.

You got me there. I do have data on this, but not releasable.

If we could forget I made this (true) claim, I'd appreciate it. Really it was driven by your jab about reading numbers, which I am reasonably ok at.

But my 7018 is starting to get pretty slick. Randy said he'd get me a test on the next job as long as I can pass a couple 31-3 x rays before then.

I'm relatively sure this has already been covered, but Iran's outdated currently declining oilfields aren't anywhere close to pushing oil to $10-$20/bbl

As long as OPEC continues to push their production to the limit, our domestic oil companies will struggle to maintain a profit since fracking is still more expensive - despite the recent advancements in technology. Our Saudi friends (cough cough) know exactly what they are doing. Oil prices may drop slightly due to the recent deal with Iran, but not to the range of $20-30 barrel. And OPEC will continue to try and drive out the US companies through overproduction. On the flip side, the OPEC overproduction is killing Russia, China, and Venezuela as well so there is a little positive to OPEC's actions.
