Eclipse glasses are now a black market item

i mean you could get them for $1 or given away free a month ago. I have like 20 pair from various events, etc. but now apparently people are standing in line for hours and they've all but dried up.

Nothing. You can look at the sun with regular sunglasses.

The only thing you're able to see out of eclipse glasses is the sun itself. When i got mine in, i thought I got ripped off. I thought for a minute that it let no light through as I couldn't even see a 500 watt bulb a foot away from my face.
