I’d say “national” but Newsweek reaches tens of people these days because they no longer include unsolicited subscriptions with an LPB pledge.

From what I have been told, inviting white kids from the magnet program is going to massively bite them in the arse because, as you mentioned upthread, they aren’t just buying into the bullshite fed to them and aren’t culturally similar to the target audience.
By the latter, I mean that I apparently halfassed know at least one girl who went and between knowing who her family is and that she has two mommies, I don’t see them dropping the complaints. The family is hardheaded as hell and were old blue collar NBR at one point.

At this point, there are so many issues that its going to get ugly.
So many different groups of people upset about different issues.

There is video of the speaker asking if he wants the kids to pray over them. For the ones who did not want prayer he gave them 10 seconds to get out the room. LITERALLY started counting.... Again WTF??????

Also the district paid $9,800 plus transportation but in the MOU there is no cost included with "transportation"

The hilarious thing is a lot of the comments on the article are blaming the "white nationalist republican agenda" is behind this. Wait till they actually learn the truth.

Deserves to be called out? Yes.
Will he be voted out of office? HELL no, because the people on his FB page are a representative sample of his constituency.
Darkly hilarious part, IMHO, is if the roles were reversed and black students were lied to in order to go to an event where black males were sat down to hear about the horrors of prison, gang violence, etc and that they needed to look the other way on crooks mistreating them while the girls got to have a spa day and whatever that he and all of them would lose their fricking shite about racism, whitesplaining, etc, and demanding that the entirety of NBR be given all the assets of the church involved.
I’m not sure if he is smarter than this and just trying to play his base into protecting him but his base is definitely dumb as shite and they are proving it in a semi-public forum.
