Ebay account hacked, woke up to 3000 emails

As someone who is OCD about keeping my inbox clean and organized, this is my worst nightmare
Some dude got past the 2FA (didn't think this was possible) on my ebay account and ordered a $500 tent at 5:40am. He changed my ebay username, email, password, etc, so I had no way to get into the account. A quick call with ebay got my account back and paypal already reversed the charge. This was the easy part.
To cover their tracks and slow down my reaction time, they ran a bot that subscribes me to all kinds of newsletters all over the world. Spam folder grabbed 1500 of them, and the other 1500 went to inbox. I was getting shite in russian, arabic, spanish, everything. Got everything flagged as spam and deleted, and now they're trickling in at 2-3 emails per hour. I think that outside of the initial burst, it's pretty manageable if you stay on top of it.
Should I just nuke this email and make a new one? I had a perfect, clean, professional name so it's gonna piss me off to throw a 1 or a dot on it or something similar, it never looks as good. Never mind the effort it will take to update my email on all the websites I use :
FML. I have the hacker's shipping address he used for the tent. I wish I could buy some Anthrax and mail it to him.

Post the address and let the OT work its magic.

Unless it was SMS based, that's actually not possible without either you approving the request, or something fricking up on eBay's end.

Sry Carson, it was a TL;DR for me.

Doesn't 2FA send you a text message? I guess if he hacked your apple account and got your iMessages it's possible

I'd like to be honest with you. You and I have butted heads on here before, And I kind of felt like you were arrogant.
But I'm sorry that this happened to you. That sucks. Hope you get it behind you in no time.
I didn't even need that tent.

it sends a green message, so imessage info wouldn't help him. my ebay account was a different password from all the rest of my shite, thankfully
this is the shite he was looking at lmao

Happened to me about 10 years ago. I was getting bombarded with angry complaint emails and cases filed against me. Apparently I sold about 50 Xbox's and didn't ship anything. Dude made bank...
ebay cleaned it all up, removed all negative marks etc once they knew it was fraudulent
